the range looks really nice.
1. the knobs on the front are occasionally bumped and turned on.
2. the touch screen is really sensitive to touch. seems like it would be best to have a lock button on the touch screen.
3. warranty - the warranty is for one year. after 22 months the mother board/main pcb needs to be replaced. it isn't a super expensive part, but it is required for the range to function. after getting an error code, i was able to find out that the main pcb has to be replaced. samsung made a point of it being out of warranty. think about this, a $1900 stove lasts less than 2 years and the company is unwilling to back their product for a $100 part. seriously... i think this is a problem.

I've purchased this gans range stove in May and in June we ran self-cleaning for the oven. After two hours some spots appear on the door of the oven. We contacted for services and the technician came and after inspect, said this is cosmetic damage and we can't do anything about it. You have to contact Samsung again. Maybe they do something for you. Also, we washed the top grill with hand and let it dry but in some holes start rotting. Really disappointed with Samsung, its warranty, and customer services. In less than a month they denied everything!

center burner is not oval to evenly distribute the heat on the griddle and you have to physically be near the stove to turn on wifi connectivity. other than that, it is great.

I really like this oven, It looks really great in my kitchen, and matches my other Samsung appliances.
My favorite thing about the over is the convection bake. It heats up really quickly and really cuts time off my cooking.
I also love that I can cancel a cook remotely from Smartthings if I am running late - and I also get notified when Pre-Heating is complete. These are great - so that I don't have to "live" in the kitchen when my food is in the oven. (I have also used the remote start which is very convenient when you don't know when you will be home exactly - you can still cook for the perfect amount of time.

While I don't normally use the range as often as my wife does, I have taken a liking to this one because it's really user friendly. (Especially for those of us who aren't familiar with home appliances.) I love the option of being able to remotely turn it on from my phone. I love Samsung products and this one is just another great product to add to our already growing Samsung family.

I absolutely love my new stove! This is my first convection oven and I cannot believe how quickly it reaches temperature.
I also love the cooktop. The specialty burners are easy to become accustomed to - the large super burner to boil pasta ant the mini burner to simmer sauce. I also love the griddle. The fit onto the grates leaves no question to placement and eliminates sliding. Best part- it cooks so evenly, even I make perfect pancakes! This is my new favorite for cooking - grilled sandwiches, french toast, fish, it all goes on the griddle.
Controls are simple and intuitive- setting temperature, bake time, timers, and selecting bake versus convection. Also love the ability to turn off from my phone!
No problems with cleaning, though I do wipe down the cooktop after use. The oven design is sleek, doesn't lend itself to grimy. And the black stainless is not susceptible to fingerprints.
Easy to clean, easy to use, cooks evenly and quickly. What more could you ask for?

I was rushed into the purchase of my previous gas range- this time I did a lot of research and comparisons before deciding on this Samsung Slide in Range- and now with my other Samsung appliance I nearly have a new kitchen!
I love the custom built in look- ( but I now need to move that old receptacle!) The installers were wonderful making sure the anti-tip devise was in place as well as scheduling the city gas inspection.
I love the different size burners as well as the different powers each one has from simmer to power boil! The oven is very fast to reach the temperature that I set it at as well-
I love the dehydrate setting for making jerky! The convection feature is wonderful for baking and it will be getting plenty of use in the next month! The grates on this range sit high enough to not scorch my pots and they are easy to lift and clean- all the element and the pilot light is enclosed.
I have not figured out the advantage of my new range having smart wifi technology but my kids think that is epic!
It comes with a griddle to place in the center but the center burner is round- and I think it should be oval shape to heat the griddle evenly- but its a good burner for oversized pots and water baths for home canning. I love the way the over light is actually one of the knobs to keep sementry appearance. I think the fan discharge in the back is a bonus for keeping small pots of food warm during oven use and for melting butter while the oven is on!
The control panel is very sensitive so no worries about abusing the panel over the years-

I can say I've had many stoves and ovens in the past, and none have compared to this one. Everything is very well marked, and actually fun to use. Everything that is on the oven is very well built from the grates on the stove, to the knobs that turn the gas on, to the racks inside. It is so easy to use because it is so well marked even a child could use it. It also heats up very fast, and like most, lets us know when ready, although the sound could be a little louder, it still works fine. The roaster also works very nicely roasting my vegetables just right without making them dried out. The gas stove part of the oven is very nice, the gas spreads out nicely around my pot and pans, and only takes a very small amount to adjust the flow. The grates are especially nice, made of thick steel and are well balanced on the stove for many yrs of service before having to replace them. Having 5 burners has been a plus, using it in combination with the flat iron in the center allows us to cook certain things you normally wouldn't be able to with other stoves, and has been a plus for our Saturday breakfast every weekend. Haven't had to use the self clean yet because the inside still is clean, and still being new, it wipes up with no problem. I've never had a convection oven before this one, and meals seem to cook quickly and come out perfectly. The oven itself slid in perfectly with no problem, and love the fact that it over hangs on both sides to keep food or sauce from dripping down between the cracks...that's a plus for me. It vents nicely as well, no problem with that at all, so all around this product has been a real joy to have and I love it, not to mention it goes with everything in the kitchen.

I am glad that my wife surprised me with a new stove in my kitchen. Our old one was missing knobs and one burner did not work. I like the look of this oven as it looks so professional. I love that the burners light up so fast and the middle burner is great for making pancakes. The only problem with the middle burner is it needs to be larger so it evenly heats the griddle. The oven took me a while to learn but I like the convection fan. When my wife made pizza for dinner, I liked that the crust was cooked evenly. The stove top has more surface area so I can cook several pans at the same time. I also wish that the oven had a third rack so my wife can bake more cookies at one time. The digital temperature is nice as it shows the temperature rising as the oven is heating up so I know when it is almost ready to put the food in.

I am so happy so far with our new Samsung Gas range with convection cooking. My wife was the one that was really excited but i have been enjoying everything she cooks up on the stove and in the oven. The oven is 5.8cu ft which is much larger then our old one. It is so easy to use and maneuver and we are no longer fighting our oven door open and closed. There are so many features we haven't even been able to get to them all yet but the convention setting is on of our favorites with its fast cooking and and how it evenly cooks the food.
It took some time getting used to having no stove back and the controls on the front, sometimes when you bump into it or reach over you can hit the buttons and end up shutting it off or changing the setting since the glass panel is sensitive. My wife prefers cooking on gas as do I and we love the 5 burner design. The burners are all different sizes too so you are able to cook things more accurately. I like how there aren't any burner plates and so cleanup it much simpler being you can wipe it down a lot easier at once. It came with a cool griddle for the middle burner that is great for breakfast foods, burgers and more and is nonstick so makes cleanup a breeze.
I grew up with stoves that you had to turn the knob all the way to light it and then back to the temperature you want which I feel is a much safer option then the knobs that light first, not just for kids since I have leaned against the stove knobs myself and the flame has come right on so it's good to be mindful.
The oven cooks nice and fast. The convection setting is like turbo cooking your food fast and evenly and has a fan to help keep the oven at a even temperature. It's really nice being able to see the oven get hot and know what temp it is at while heating up. I've always wanted that in a stove. It also has a regular bake/broil setting. slow cook, dehydrate, and bread proof. The bottom drawer which I thought was for storage is a warming drawer to keep food warm. They really thought of everything when they made this range and a happy wife makes a happy life :)

The Samsing Slide in range is definitely first in its class. Sporting a spacious cooktop with 5 burners has given me the freedom to be able to cook with flexibility.
It can accommodate different sized pots and pans which is really important when I am cooking a pasta, keeping my sauce warm, melting butter and using my saute pan all at the same time.
The range top is also multifunctional: the simmer burner cooks at 5k BTU which means I can melt butter while I use the other 17k BTU burners to do everything from boiling water really fast to keep my stocks and sauces at a rolling boil.
The Fan Convection is a dream. When I was young my mother had a separate convection oven in her kitchen and it made the best chicken I have ever tasted. To be able to do that in my oven is an invaluable feature. Now I can roast and bake using less energy creating better tasting food.
The oven itself is huge with a
5.8 cu. ft. capacity. This means the days of running to my son's cottage to use his oven for what different fit in mine are over!! I can cook multiple dishes at once, easily fitting a big roasting pan and multiple casserole dishes, or two racks of cookies. It also has a variable broiler features with a range of 446°F - 587°F. This is super helpful when cooking steaks.
The control panel is easy to use and is set perfectly for easy visibility of oven and clock and the finger proof finish is a welcome feature. It also has a Sabbath mode which is awesome as well as child safety lock feature which is invaluable.
The wi-fi connectivity is beyond anything I could have ever imagined!! I can actually remotely monitor the cooktop and control the oven using an App, and I am able to receive real time cooking updates.
Overall I'd have to say Samsung has designed my dream range and I am living that dream everytime I use it !!

This Samsung range is amazing. I never thought I'd be happy with purchasing an expensive range before, until now. I always thought a standard (read that old) range with 4 burners and no bells and whistles was all that was needed (and technically it is), but having a range with some bells and whistles does making cooking a tad bit easier.
By far my favorite feature is the ability to connect to the Samsung SmartThings app. I like being able to look at the app and see how much time is left cooking or having the app beep at me when pre-heating is done, or the oven is a few minutes out from finishing or when the oven is finished cooking. The ability to save some "favorite" oven recipes (time/temp) is pretty nice too, but I don't use it that often since I've memorized it for most of my favorite dishes anyways.
I do like having 5 burners at the ready with the middle one coming with a cast iron griddle. These burners are a bit more powerful than my old stove so depending on which burner I use, I have to rethink my stove settings for the flame.
The convection portion of the oven though is what I'm really liking. Now when I put a few things in the oven, I dont' have to worry about bake times for the top and bottom rack since the convection feature allows them to cook the same for the same amount of time.
As for the looks... The black stainless steel is gorgeous and the slide-in look looks really nice. I wasn't sure at first if i would like the slide-in design, but after seeing it installed, I'm not sure I would ever go back to the normal design range.

I've been using my range now for a few weeks and it's been nothing but perfect this entire time. It's so beautiful and sleek and besides looking great, it also performs wonderfully. It's reduced my cooking time because having a 5th burner has made a world of difference. I love having the griddle to use for breakfast. My kids have loved being able to use the griddle to make simple things like quesadillas for a snack. It's been a wonderful addition to our home and I look forward to using the convection oven for all of my holiday baking needs. I'm sure it will be just as great as everything else has been so far. I'm super happy with this new range.

I want to start by saying this range is absolutely beautiful. I love that it has 5 burners and the convection feature. I love that everything is in the front of the range so that I won't have to reach to the back to turn the oven on over a hot pot. The griddle feature is so fun to use. I've cooked eggs, bacon, omelettes and even grilled fish. Samsung has the best appliances. It fits so perfectly into my kitchen. I'm giving this range a 5 star rating.

This is an awesome upgrade for any chefs kitchen to have. I think one of the best features is the griddle feature, although it only has one isle, it provides heat for the entire griddle and it's evenly dispersed for an even thorough cook. The convection is sweet for my cheesecake as well. Cooking dinner and your family isn't home yet because they got caught in traffic, no problem use the Keep Warm feature on your new oven, keeps the food at a great temp until you're ready to consume it. Leave home and just remembered that you left the oven on, no problem this puppy has Wi-Fi so just open your app the Smart Control feature lets you turn it off. Ever wanted to make your own fruit snacks, yep, this oven has a dehydrate feature, healthy living here we come.

Now I know it's said that you can't love an inanimate object. But how could I not??? This oven is amazing! It's beautiful, sleek, easy to clean and cooks everything to perfection! Everything from chicken thighs to turkey loaf, brownies and apple pie all were cooked evenly and browned nicely without having to turn and adjust. The holidays are right around the corner and I can't wait to get started on the turkey!

I purchased this brand new Samsung gas range to replace my standard apartment grade range. This range is amazing it has 5 burners in three different sizes. The two large front burners have amazing output my old stove could barely get things hot enough to make french fries the flame output on the range is amazing it has one small burner in the back that is perfect for keeping things warm the other two burners are medium size burners. The cast iron greats over the burners are easily removed to make cleaning an absolute breeze the finish on this unit is high quality and easy to clean the Great's are not only functional but they're beautiful as well. The digital electronic controls for the oven are amazing my old stove was at least 50 degrees of temperature off my first experience cooking in the oven was fantastic everything came out evenly cooked and perfectly cooked this is a convection oven that has a fan to circulate the Heat which helps evenly cook your food. Also unlike standard Rangers this oven has a self-cleaning function to help make clean up easier I highly recommend purchasing this unit to replace your old range Samsung has combined functionality and Design to make this range worth your money

This is the best oven I have ever owned personally. It has everything I could want and need in a stove and was a perfect addition to our kitchen. When I first started cooking on it I literally kept burning everything since my past stove was very limited in flame and heat and all the burners were the same size. It took me sometime to get used to having such a wide array of cooking and flame functions again on my stove. I love cooking on gas stoves and love how this stove has 5 burners in different sizes. It makes it really convenient when your cooking different foods at different temperatures. It includes a griddle which is great for breakfast foods and grilling vegetables and fits perfectly on the stove top securely. I was thrown off by the placement of the controls but like it much better this way. The oven is amazing and has tons of cooking options including convection which cooks your food at light speed :) I love the 6 button design and includes a easy on/off oven light button which allows you to clearly see through the glass to what you are cooking. The 5.8cu ft of cooking room makes it easy to fit just about anything and also includes features like slow cook, dehydrate, bread proof, keep warm, and delay start. I haven't needed to use the self clean function yet but so happy it has one. I love the black stainless steel design and the bottom drawer is definitely a plus. It slides in and out effortlessly and fits a nice amount of items. I couldn't be happier with my Samsung gas range and it can really make cooking so much more convenient and faster.

I love how this oven looks and operates. The features of the oven are very useful. My favorite is the bread proofing setting. I love being able to have the perfect temperature to raise my bread dough and then being able to bake in without having to move it from the oven. The convection fan cooked my pizza cust so evenly. I also love that I can turn on or off the oven from my phone or adjust the temperature. The digital panel is pretty cool too so I can see how long it takes to preheat the oven. The digital panel is easy too operate and it makes it simple to set the temperature and time. I can't wait to use the dehydrator setting for apple slices and oven-roasted tomatoes. Also the oven light makes seeing into the oven window so amazing without having to open the door as the window is big and bright.
The stove part looks so sleek and is easy to keep clean. The grates are easy to pick up so I can wipe down the stove quickly after I use it. The burners all turn on quickly. I also love how the stove slides over the countertop so no crumbs fall onto the floor. Some people may say the fan that runs while the oven is on is annoying but to me it is not and I don't ever forget to turn off the oven. The griddle is a nice feature to have for making pancakes. Since the burner under the griddle is small and round(wish it was bigger and oval) I had to turn up the heat when I made pancakes but it was nice to be able to make several pancakes at one time.
The only complaint about the oven is that it does not sit flush with the wall as there is a 1 and a half inch gap due to the gas line. It would have been nice if Samsung had made the back grate extender piece an inch longer so things wont fall back there.

Just got my range the other day, and I have to say... Its really nice ! I love teh bright blue clock on the front panel display !.... The 5 Burners on top... Plenty of room... Its basically a Large grill (with the burner grills)... Came with a cook-top plate for the 3rd burner, Great to do breakfast on. The design looks 10 years ahead of its time. The oven was great with a FAST Heatup of left overs that convection blower motor distributes the heat super evenly for a great fully heated up meal. Touch controls on front work nice, the burner knobs are A1 Quality ! I super love how there is AMPLE room on the stovetop to cook many things at once. I HIGHLY Recommend this range !

I am so very happy with my new Samsung Range! We needed a new range and this is exactly the type of range we had wanted to get. I love gas cooking and the heavy grates are fantastic. Also love the center burner and the flat plating/griddle. I've never had any experience with a convection oven before but it really seems to make a big difference in the oven heating fast and cooking. The overall look of the range is beautiful! Really makes my kitchen look beautiful. The black stainless makes everything look better. It's just an overall sleek fantastic looking appliance. I just couldn't be any happier.

I've had this oven for about a week now, and it is pretty cool. Oven heats quickly, touchscreen is very responsive. The racks are actually wider than my old oven - more cooking space.
It also looks awesome and resists fingerprints.
I am a heavy duty SmartThings user, so it's nice to have the oven integrated into this system. You can even turn off the oven remotely, if you are running late getting home.
Overall a great oven.

This is truly a superior range. The workmanship and finish is beautiful. This is a high end appliance. The power of the burners is very effective for cooking evenly. Tried the convection feature which is a big plus. The oven size is very accommodating for cooking. Connected to WiFi and it helps to monitor the cooking process. It has some preset cooking functions which I have not tried yet but can wait to use. I am truly impressed with the quality.

We had our range installed Tuesday, 10/8 and right from first sight loved it. not having the display and controls up top is so sleek. It fit perfect. Our first cook was with the oven using it normally, came out perfect. 2nd night we used the convection option, again came out perfect. Linked our range to Smart Things app and it would notify us that preheat was done, set the timer and the app would give us a 2 minute warning of the timer going off. Having a previous gas range cooking on the stove top was not much different. Can't wait to try the griddle. So many options will have to come back and write some more. Thank You Insiders
