this range went out one year (june 26, 2020) from the day we brought it, june 26, 2021 from lowe's in ruston, la. we went on vacation on the 11th of june and when we returned on the 27th, the lights on the stove was off and the oven was locked but the stovetop worked. we called lowe's and they said that they would have someone to call us and they did on july 1st just to tell us that we would have to call samsung which we did to no avail because the warranty was for one year after purchase. samsung told us to unplug it and see what happens (see photo). there went the stove that i loved and we retired and on fix income from month to month.

due to the design, of the stem, it caught some grease into it, then this stove went into storage for a while, due to moving to another place with stove. now that i want to use it, the stove is inoperable. replacing the valve costs 50 to 70 depending on seller, times 5 for all burners, that is 250 to 350 plus labor, unless i do it myself, it is in perfect condition, except for that. at this cost, i may as well buy another one.

I purchased this oven new with a one-year factory warranty. It worked fine for about 18 months of moderate use. Then one day, the error code "E28" appeared on the screen and all oven functions were disabled. After in the manual, I learned that this error code indicates the oven temperature sensor has shorted. I removed the sensor and tested it using a multimeter. I found that it was working properly with the correct resistance (1080). Just to make sure, I purchased and installed a new sensor ($45), but the error code still remained. Finally, I tested the sensor connector on the main board and found that it was well below the correct resistance (2850). Now I need to purchase a new main PCB board for $120-140 to replace the old one, and hope that it solves the issue. I am very disappointed that this oven did not last even two years, and will not be buying Samsung appliances in the future.

Has NOT stood the test of time. The burner gas controllers are the cheapest of plastic and have broken. The engineering of these parts is pathetic requiring an additional medal stop to keep the controllers from turning universally. The processor shorted out meaning that one burner only lights with a match. The others light up the electronic display when you turn it to ignite requiring complete reset of temp, time and timer functions. Cheap carcase and poor insulation means that the oven does not keep to temp. Many oven racks but can't support baking more than one dish at a time without drastic drop in temp. Don't bother.

My son purchased this stove for me for Mother's day and he was very excited to do this for me. We have had nothing but issues with this stove and would not recommend this item. Items don't cook evenly and items have to be cooked twice as long as recommented. Thermostat was replaced and still having issues. A tech has been out 2 in the last 3 weeks and it still isn't working properly for a stove that is less then a year old!!! The last tech advised that I just have to cook my food longer!! Are you kidding me?? This stove is less then a year old and I never have had to cook my food longer in my old stove!

Bought a few years ago and the digital control panel started to fail just after the warranty expired. It started by the number 4 failing when trying to set the oven temperature. Yes, so completely unable to set 400, 425, 475... etc. Fast forward through years of frustration and I can no longer use the 1, 4, 7, or 0 along with broil and several other functions. This has become impossible to work around. Samsung will not just send someone to change the panel, they insist on charging me for a diagnostic visit followed by a repair/installation visit. The total cost is nearly what I paid for the oven! DON'T BUY IT, the other parts are fine but they know this part it terrible and they wont do anything about it!

If you spill something on top of the stove and it runs over the front, it gets inside the door. The cast iron grills are rusting. The oven racks are bent up at the back, I guess to prevent sliding a pan off the back, but this greatly reduces the space available for pans. I didn't notice this when I bought it, but it's a big problem for me. The oven temp. is ALWAYS off, and it's off by a variable level so there's no real way to compensate for it. If you are a baker, look elsewhere for an oven that has more accurate temperatures. The only redeeming features are the proof setting, which I use for dough and for making yogurt, and the middle burner, although the grill that came with the stove does not heat evenly. Finally, when I called for service, the store I bought if from refunded my money rather than repairing, even though I had bought the extended warranty. All-in-all, a purchase I regret. When I replace this, I will spend more and get a better range.

For unknown reason I am not able to use my oven. The button for baking among other digital buttons including the start button do not work. Only thing working is the burner right now. I am very disappointed with this brought. I can't do Samsung broughts anymore.

The dial knobs started breaking (for no reason) after a year and the touch pad broke after 2 years. The dial knobs are very cheaply made. I like the other aspects of the stove and oven fine, but and extremely disappointed in the cheaply made dial knobs, which are expensive! I would NOT get this again.

This product functioned great until the inner glass panel shatter out during a self cleaning. That was December 28th 2017. Now being Feb 8th of 2018 I still do not have a functioning range. I have been waiting on a replacement piece of glass for three weeks finally to get home to find it delivered yesterday. Opened the package to find the replacement glass piece shattered. Samsung has terrible customer service and there service provider for repairs is even worst. Very disappointed in the overall product this will be the end of buying there products for personal use and also for the houses that my company builds every year, and also our combined 35 rental units. Very disappointed with everything that has taken place over the last month and a half.

Just received my range yesterday, 9/21/17. Looks all new, nothing damaged, missing. It operates according to the manual. Have not used it yet. I have turned it on both stove and oven. Let stove on for 30 min. as required, to burn off the new smell. So far I'm very impressed and satisfied. One question I did have is, the manual states for all flames to be blue. Mine are at low settings, but at higher settings the tips turn yellow/orange. Is this normal? Should it always be blue regardless of settings? I'll write another review in a couple of months.

Owned this unit a couple months. It has all the basic features one might want at a very reasonable price. The griddle-length fifth burner and flat cooktop are especially nice.
Minor quibbles: We have been reluctant to use the included griddle because the finish on it feels a little cheap. Not sure if the "chicken nuggets" button is really necessary. Maybe people with kids will get more value out of it.
We haven't done any cakes or breads, so can't really report back on the evenness of the baking.

When I saw this oven (without my wife) I knew right off the bat that this was the oven she would like. I brought it home and she was definitely delighted about it's stunning appearance. She was more delighted after we got it connected and began cooking with it. I like how the preheat shows the incremental temperatures as it climbs toward your desired temperature. Cooks beautifully!! My wife loves it and I can stay in the house since I made a great choice. Buy this oven you will not regret it!!!! Great product from Samsung!! Only complaint would be to put the smaller right side burner in front and the power burner in the right rear. Wife does not like the fact that if you leave oven door open while you have oven on that after 1 minute oven will shut off. Sometimes use the oven in fall to take the chill out of the air, instead of cranking up the furnace.

So far I'm pretty happy with this stove. I think this particular model is a very good value. If money is no object, there are a few features on their higher end models that this doesn't have but I think the quality and looks are close enough that the difference in price makes this a sensible purchase.
I would say I shopped pretty thoroughly and was actually prepared to spend a bit more but in the end I think I made the right choice.

The display location draws your attention when setting up an operation as cooking time, favorite cook, self clean, keep warm, and Easy Cook. Controlling the oven light from outside is a great asset without opening the oven. The well marked control knobs in red are clearly visible and are a great help for poorer vision cooks and creative recipe dabblers. It is also an attractive addition to our kitchen of other appliances.

I never would have thought I would say I love my range, but I do. Before it was just a necessary appliance for the house but now I even showed to my neighbor very proudly. My range came with the griddle and I have used it many times. I enjoy cooking and baking now.

This range is designed beautifully, but I'm even more excited about the 5th burner and included griddle pan. Samsung seemed to really make this range as user friendly as possible, especially the different sized burners that make doing some cooking jobs faster and easier.
