I purchased this dryer as a set with the WF5300 washer to replace a set that died. It is such an improvement over what we had. Larger capacity and more efficient
is saving time and eliminating frustration. I am very happy with this unit and its multi function.

Have had this for a month. It's a good dryer. It's holds a lot. My only issue is that the clothes and bedding tend to wrap around each other in there. I had another Samsung dryer for 10 years and never really had this issue. I'm not sure if it's the shape of the drum or the larger capacity that is causing the issue. Other than that, I really like this dryer. I have yet to use the steam function, but I am excited to try it out.

The sheets get rolled up into a tight wad. They come out of the dryer a damp wrinkled mess. I have never had a dryer that performed so badly. I used the timed setting most of the time in order to have the low and medium heat setting. The other setting only have high

I have had this dryer for just over a year and a half. I had to have a cracked drum replaced within the one year warranty window. I would not have minded if this resolved the issue but now, only months later, the drum has cracked again. This tells me there is an issue with their drums. Check the web for possible issues before buying. It's too bad because I like how the dryer works otherwise and it was a good value.

The unit is simple to use, just power on, make your select, then push start. I can not believe how quite it is during the cycle, with safety lock features. I love the steam cleaning, everything feels so soft and clean. Just purchase today, so I do not know exactly how much of a savings on my electric bill, but I definitely expect a discount. Very nice, I love it!

This dryer works great and has all the features I could possibly want. It is quiet and dries my clothes quickly.
My only issue is that in this price range there is not a smaller version of this dryer. The smaller sized appliances are all much more expensive.

Quite frankly the only option this seems to lack compared to its more expensive counterparts is the active wear setting. so, if you're not particular about having a setting for your moisture wicking workout clothes, this machine will serve all of your needs!
it's fairly quiet, but, i admit i did expect it to be a little quieter for a modern machine. nevertheless, it's better than the old machine it replaced.
setup is a breeze and it's easy to switch the door opening with just a philips screwdriver.
I do recommend buying the stainless steel water line kit from your local Lowe's, Home Depot or whatever your store of choice is. The included line will work; I just prefer SS braided lines for my water connections.

I have only had the dryer for 2 months and so far I like it. Plenty of good features, I have 2 little children so am a big fan of the anti static feature since we cannot use dryer sheets.
Some bigger items like blankets are hard to get fully dry in there so make sure you use the timed feature.

Dryer works well, I like the lint remover system. I wish it had a front kick panel to make it easier to clean lint out from the inside of the dryer, though it seems like a lot of them aren't made that way anymore. I also wish the alarm was louder, I can't hear it from inside.
Regarding Steam: This is a cool feature. However, a friend from a local propane company, who installed my conversion kit to propane, told me to be careful about the steam component during the winter months - if the dryer is in an unfinished garage like ours, the water inside the hoses in the dryer can freeze and then damage electronic components when it thaws and sprays inside. He's seen dryers like mine completely destroyed due to this. We will be only using the steam hook-up during warm months, and disconnecting during the winter to avoid incident - however, if I had known this, I might not have chosen a dryer with a steam function. Just an FYI. So - haven't tried it yet but hope to in the spring when we are out of the danger zone for freezing.

This dryer has interior white light which is very helpful in identifying missing sock.
Clothes are wrinkle-free after dried so that you can save a lot fabric softener. The only unexpected thing is it requires an extra cold water hose for the steam feature. This is the thing probably I overlooked when I was reading the spec.

Trust the Samsung name for appliances, ease of using, and control panel.

What a Value! Our Samsung DV5200 gas dryer performs phenomenally. My old washer and dryer were only 10 years old, but WOW, what a difference 10 years makes. I am amazed at how much better this washer and dryer perform compared to my old units. After the second or third load of laundry was taken out of the dryer I was amazed at how soft and fluffy my dry cloths and towels feel- and I have not needed to use any fabric softeners or dryer sheets at all!
I absolutely love my new Samsung Washer and Dryer. I bought this pair based on #1-size. I have limited clearance for the doors to open, and this pair measures perfectly- with a little room to spare. And #2-price. These units were some of the most reasonably priced front loading washer and matching dryers available, and I cannot be happier with my purchase

This brand new dryer wont let you select a low temperature with the sensor dry. So what is the purpose of a low setting if you can't use it? It's the setting I use most and now my brand new dryer won't let me choose the low setting. Don't buy this dryer, who knows what else it can't do.

Great machine with 11 settings. The steam setting is awesome for removing wrinkles. The dryer is so quiet I had to visually check a couple of times to see if it was working. Excellent dryer with a large capacity drum.

I love our new gas dryer. I love the all the features. My favorites so far are the quick dry, refresh (which moistens your clothes and dries them), sanitize, and wrinkle prevent. It's nice to know if I don't get to the clothes once the dryer is done, they won't get wrinkled right away.

I finally changed the dryer I got with my house when I bought it and love the performance and efficiency of this dryer. My old dryer gave me problems with leaving clothes damp most of the time and I had to re-run it. It's simple to operate and gives me an exact time of how long it will run.

I did a ton of research beforehand and found this set to be the best value and after owning it, I have found it to be a great product. My problem with front loaders is that I never found that they got clothes as clean as the old school energy hoggers. Not this one, it's the first front loader I have used that actually gets my clothes really wet when washing and really clean.
