The metal shelving in our older upright Fridgeadair freezer held up to the weight a lot better than the glass shelving. I thought the new glass would be nice but it is bowing badly, keep waiting for it all to come crashing down.

Love The Temperature Control On Door

I™€™ve had freezers before that had the temperature control inside and that is very hard to get to when you have your food inside. This model is made so you can control the temperature on the door. And if anything goes below it has an alarm. Plus if the power goes off it is to stay cold for 2 hours.

Our last Frigidaire upright freezer lasted us more than 20 years, so it was a no brainer to purchase the same brand. We like the convenience of having a well stocked freezer. I love being able to make large batches of soups and freezing in smaller portions to have on hand especially in the winter. :)

I purchased this freezer because we were buying another cow (butchered) and did not have enough room in my other freezer. This freezer cooled down very quickly upon turning it on. Love the glass shelves compared to the wire racks I have in my other upright freezer. Nice to look at as well. This was a great value. Cheaper than the last one I bought two years ago and the same size.

I was looking to upgrade my upright freezer. It was over 10 years old, and I wanted a change. I found it in this one! It is bigger (taller) than I originally wanted, but this wasn't a deterrent. Not is it only taller and a bit wider, but way more spacious! Nice glass shelving that it easy to clean and prevents items falling through (unlike wire rack shelving). Easy to assemble. Easy to clean. LOVE the automatic closure feature. Having lost costly product in the past due to failure to completely shut, this is a god sent. Having an alarm to notify also helps, but is ineffective if you grabbed something for dinner then leave for work! Honestly, this feature is what sold me on this freezer. Love my new freezer.

Greatest Freezer I've ever had!

We purchased this freezer to replace a 4-month old 'other brand" that refused to go below 26°F. The manufacturer said it was operating "normally". I can't say enough good things about this new Frigidaire freezer! Within 4 hours it was down to 0° in a 100° garage! I can now feel confident that anything I put inside will be safely frozen and last a long time. The lighting makes it easy to see all the way to the bottom basket. We are very happy with our purchase and won't be buying that "other brand" ever again!!

We recently replaced a 20 cubic foot Frigidaire we have had in the garage for 20 years. It has been great and was still working fine. We sold it used and the people were glad to get it. The reason we bought the new one was the new one is made for the garage and can handle temperatures from 0 degrees to 110 degrees. It doesn't vary one bit from 10 below zero with it in the hot temps we've been getting. I am 81 years old and remember the Frigidaire name as a youngster and I'm glad they are still around.

I've only had this freezer for a week, but chose it because of the interior configuration. I like the number of shelves in the door; lots of door storage. The door is tight and I like the fact that it has an alarm if it gets too warm, and the freezer control right in the outside of the door.

Purchased this freezer to replace an existing frigidaire after the compressor went out after being in service for slightly less than ten years. Hoping that this one will last many years longer. Seems to be working satisfactorily, ie keeping stored foods frozen. Does not have a digital temp indicator, but does have a reference bar for the relative coldness of the freezer.

Adjusting shelves is not easy and they use plastic clips which will break over time, could have just designed a catch lip in shelving that lasted a life time. Only one rack on bottom tried to get one with two never in stock. Changing door opening from left to right was a three hour adventure and the clips are real fragile so be careful. Manual says there is suppose to have light on bottom not found not there. Out of freezer available this is the best for quality and design. I would buy again and highly recommended.
